Correct SATA driver for DS3?

Hi there,

I was just wondering if someone with a DS3 could tell me which SATA driver I need to copy from the CD to a floppy disk in order to just have my drives work properly in windows, no raid or anything. There are something like 16 different files and the manual doesn't seem to lay it down properly... my last mb came with a floppy with the right drivers already on it! Cheapskate gigabyte...

Oh and also, what is AHCI and should I be using it?

dont have your mobo but just built a new system and dint need any discs for sata on mine only needed drivers if running raid.

Nope no SATA drivers needed to install Windows on a DS3. Even my SATA dvd drive works 'out of the box'.
