Correct way of installing windows on Raid?

Im about to buy my new system and i would just like to know what is the correct method of setup windows on raid?

From what i remember, you have set the HDD's up in raid format you want first, then start to install windows (pressing F2 for raid drivers?) and carry on from there as per normal.

Is this correct, or is there a better way now?
Also do you need a floppy drive to install the raid drivers for windows?

think its F6 for third party drivers, on an install

u need to enable raid in the bios and then setup the raid control F10 i guess plus u still need a floppy for the raid drivers
