I currently have windows 7 and windows vista installed on my system, and would like to remove windows vista. Whats is the correct way of doing this, can i just delect vista's windows directory and all folder relating to vista? How can i remove the dual boot up screen on system start up, so it boots into windows 7 without asking for an option of which OS to load??

Yeah i still have files i need to keep on the vista drive so cant format the whole drive. Wheres the option for repairing the boot menu on Windows 7 disc, can i load it through windows itself or from system startup?

I cant seem to delete the windows folder, saying i need permission form the trustedinstaller to make changes to this folder, any suggestions

Tried both, doesnt work, doing it in the command prompt give access denied message, and disabling UAC doesnt help. Any other suggestions?

I formated the drive in the end, couldnt be arsed with fudging about with it anymore, so i nuked it :). Yeah i used MSconfig, completely forgot about that method of changing the boot process. Really annoying about permission assess though, thought MS could have made it a little easier!. Cheers guys
