Correcting TJmax values for accurate temps?

Been wondering as to why for such low volts and mediocre overclock my chips been reaching the low 60's on p95 large FFTs.

Apparantly, the Q9550 C1's TJmax is 71.4°C according to intel (http://processorfinder.intel.com/Details.aspx?sSpec=SLAWQ). Seems a bit low?

I assume i need to edit Everest/RealTemp/CoreTemp in order for them to show accurate readouts? (which translate into low 30s, quite a difference! :o)

Or am i being a complete spanner and intels stated temperature isn't the TJMax value?

that isnt the TJ max thats max case diode temp not core temp.
TJmax is 100C on that chip so if you use core temp its correct.
what Voltages are you using and what cooling have you got? mine hits mid 60s on my dodgy core (one is higher than the others!!)

that's the rated temp ain't it? It's 100 like all 45mm chips I thought.

Haha typical, suspected i was being a donkey :P

Core1 is the hottest of the lot, core4 being the coolest. It was sitting at 60-63 doing prime95 large fft's whereas core 4 was 56-59 (according to Everest, RealTemp is usually 2~3° cooler per core and more consistant across the cores whereas CoreTemp is spot on with Everest +/- 1°)

LLC Enabled 1.21vcore in bios = 1.19 idle 1.20 load. (My Chips rated at 1.25 VID according to Everest/CoreTemp)
PLL 1.54, FSB Term 1.20, nb 1.24

Although i have to admit, its only tonight i started looking into it and enabled LLC as before i was having to set 1.26 in bios to have it stay 1.19/1.20 under load. Was getting crashes/lock-ups a couple weeks ago and on setting the above voltages with vcore 1.26 i managed to keep it stable again.

Using a Noctua NH-U12P with 2 Noctua 120mm fans (push and pull).
