Hi guys, ive just torn down my old rig to re use a rad and cpu/gpu blocks in a new build. Ive notied a fair size build up of these turquoise flakes on the bends in the tubing which im goin to assume is corrosion.

Ive ran mayhems blitz p1 through the rad but that wasnt too mucky when i emptied it. Should i pick up the pro kit and trust that will sort it? Or should i crack open yhe blocks for inspection?

Well the blocks were opened up, but were surprisingly clear, but not spotless. Ive given them a clean out anyway and reassembled. Ran the blitz part 1 through the rads and part 2 through the whole loop and flushed 3 times with Di water. Noticed a lot more debris being flushed out once the part 2 had gone round i have to say.

As for coolant, im not 100% This is the first loop ive built myself so once id finished i took it to a mate of a mate who "knows what hes doing". He filled the loop there. At the time i didn't really know a huge amount about coolants so i just assumed he knew what was best.

Needless to say lessons have been learned:rolleyes: :D
