Corrupt Downloads[FIX]

Anyone want to help me? large files seem to corrupt extremely easily on my line and i cant seem to fix it , anything 100meg plus usually and when downloading 2-3gig is not fun any help?
 
i never said films , and i dont use torrents. Just general games etc that are trialees etc currently downloading lineage2 but am sure it will mess up.
 
I dont know to be honest are you on a wireless connection?? could that be a cause has your hard drive got damaged sectors?
 
Is it a Nvidia MB? If so, disable the Active Armor I think it is called, it's in amongst the Nvidia Firewall and stuff. Sorry I can't be more detailed but I never reinstalled it when I went onto Vista so can't check, but it was corrupting all my downloads and sounds very similar to what's happening to you.

Oh and im sure you will enjoy Lineage II, it is a great game :)
 
i had this for a while
it was a dodgy gigabit network card that was doing it

torrents would appear to be 100 % downloaded and seeding, but if you checked it again it would come up at 99.9% and keep trying to redownload the last 0.01%

changed to a not so cheapie gigabit card and it all has been fine since :)

You still haven't said which client you are using to download these files.
Are they via HTTP through you're internet browser?
If so, which browser are you using?
Some browsers cannot cope with large files, you might need to use a download manager.
