Corrupt downloads. Need some inspiration!

For the past few weeks I've had issues with corrupt downloads. The large majority of files I've tried to install have failed throwing up all sorts of errors (see below). I've tried just about everything I can think of - but nothing seems to be solving the problem and I'm beginning to lose patience.

Here are a few examples of installers failing:

Avira, foobar2000, Starcraft 2, Zip Archives.

My hardware:

Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.3 GHz
ASUS P8P67 LE B3 Revision M/B
nVidia GTX 570
Kingston HyperX 8gb

I've never had any issues like this before. My network, hardware and peripherals have remained unchanged. I've reformatted my hard drive using the same genuine Windows 7 x64 Home Premium disc with a genuine key I always have. I've tried using my brothers genuine CD but the same thing happens. I've checked both my RAM and my HD. Both seem fine. I've rebooted the network, turned firewalls on and off. Changed networks, changed my network USB card. Files I've transferred via USB from my laptop running on the same network run fine.

Has anyone got any ideas? I'm tired and frustrated :(

Thanks

Did my Super Hub update automatically? A few people on the thread I linked mentioned a new beta firmware, version R36T2 if I recall correctly. Don't suppose you know where I can get a link?

change your DNS setting within windows so you use the non Virgin DNS and you should be fine (dont know why but this worked for me)
