Having a bit of an issue with my microserver getting corrupt downloads on compressed files it seems.

I can download the same file from the same place on 2 other machines and its fine, but on the microserver I get crc errors. I've also downloaded a file on a different computer using the ethernet cable and port that its plugged into without issue.

Can't find any hardware issues (run memtest with a good result) and the microserver is as standard aside from fully populated drive spaces and a xeon upgrade.. It is set up with 4 drives in drivepool but the issue is also apparent if i download the OS drive that isn't pooled.

Any suggestions on where to go next? I've ordered some new ram just in case its that (and an excuse to upgrade it a bit)

The likely candidates are:

HDD
Memory
Corrupt OS install

I'd suggest that if you still have the issue after replacing the memory then try downloading it to a USB stick to rule out an HDD issue. Finally try downloading it after booting into a Linux live distro to rule out a corrupt OS.
