Corrupt gamertag..

Arghhhh! Has this happened to anyone else? My profile was on a mem card and has been for months to get around a dodgy Dead Rising HDD issue. My temp US and Japan profiles were still there. The last game I played was Oblivion a few days ago which shutdown normally after saving successfully. I lost about 200 points from about 10 hours of offline Oblivion-ing (bringing my total lost to 500 inc Enchanted Arms dodgyness!

Not happened to me, but i have actually heard about this.

Im not even sure how its possible - but read it a few times.

I've never even heard of this, but like any data file I suppose it's possible for it to become corrupt.

I had some aggro with a HD profile issue too. I then bought a XSATA and backed the drive up and once formatted its fine again.

I would recommend investing in one for the future, it backs up both HD and MU devices.

Well I managed to recover my tag from live.. I breezed past the 'you will lose all your saves' lying message as my saves still work. Back to Oblivion
