Corrupt roaming profiles

we use a SOE + CITRIX enviroment each PC has Windows XP and each user has a domain account. Each user has a roaming profile path in AD eg \\servername\leeds$ and a tsprofile path eg \\servername\leeds$\tsprofile which is fine but we are experiencing problems with corrupt profiles

When logging in after the ctrl alt del screen it hangs on loading personal settings or will reboot it self. You have to get the user to boot the pc into safe mode with networking and as quickly as possible delete the corrupt local profile as you lose connection. You also have to delete the roaming profile from the server because if he goes onto another pc it will corrupt that as well

Has anyone encountered this before? i beleive its delayed write failures causing the issue

Any reason why your using roaming profiles and TS roaming profiles unless you want the TS profile to be different to the desktop one?

roaming profiles and ts profiles are the bane of the Citrix world. The best way to deal with them is to us a tool for managing them such as RES Powerfuse or Appsense. Other than that there isn't a lot you can do as roaming profiles are a pain in the bum...
