Corrupt setup files when downloading .exe's?

Hey guys, i did a forum search and didn't find anything - so im sorry if this has been asked a million times.

When i download install files (for example, 3DMark 06, Nvidia graphics drivers) i get errors saying the setup files are corrupt. I upgraded my hardware on monday (new M/B, Graphics card, Memory, CPU) I stuck with the same make of GFX and CPU. Nvidia and AMD. I didn't re-install when i uograded though. Is this a common problem or am i best re-formatting?

Definitely reinstall after a mobo upgrade, also you could have dodgy RAM

Hmm im hoping it's not the ram, as it's the 2GB Corsair XMS DDR 400 from Overclockers. I'll try a reinstall.
