corrupt windows 7 installation

for some reason when i boot up my pc asks what os i want to load..

>windows 7
>windows 7

the only problem is that the 2nd one is corrupted!!

i only have one hard drive. anyone no how to get rid of this corrupt version/

Mine had that first time I started it up after install then the second one dissapeared

It says it's for Vista but it may work for Windows 7.

Just delete the one that isn't really there using msconfig. You know which one it is. The one that ISN'T your current OS.
