corrupted images- any thoughts

I have a large number of jpegs that have been corrupted somehow- the images either partially show or no show due to the HDD failing a few years ago but I was able to move them as they are to another drive.
Does anyone know if there is any software that might be able to repair or check these images
they are mostly baby photos so desperate to try and sort out

It's kinda unlikely that corrupt JPEGs could be repaired. Is there any chance to try reading them on another device, on the off-chance it's actually something funky going on with your PC? Upload them to cloud storage and see if they display there ?

The only thing I can think is trying a few other editors. You might get lucky.
