Hi all

I have been plagued with the pointer corruption. I have searched around the net and people seem to think it is graphics card related, drivers probably. It only happens on 1 monitor.
Im using windows 7 pro 64bit

Does anyone have a fix for this? I have tried the shadows, changing pointer theme, disabling screen savers, reinstalling graphics drivers, (I think adding the cursour trails worked but was useless as this stopped the cursour being visable in some games)

Thanks in advance

Does the same happen with different versions of the graphics card drivers?

i had a thread a while back, regarding strange mouse issues, mine being that the mouse pointer would randomly become massive and only a reboot would cure it-temporarily of course. only real fix was a bios update. dunno if you're suffering something similar. think the problem was a known issue with the gpu/motherboard combo. so maybe have a check on your motherboard manufacturers website to see if their are any bios updates to sort your problem. hope this helps

Well I have recently done a bios update, the problem is still occurring. But a reboot does temporarily fix it.

I have done multiple graphics driver updates all had this same issue.

Thanks for the suggestions

Any more ideas?

I just had this today. Rebooting made it go away though. :/

No idea what caused it, sorry.

EDIT: Only on monitor number 1? I reckon it might be another issue with the 10.6 ATI drivers.

Yes same issue as me I think, only happens on monitor one. I have looked on the internet and most people think its a driver issue but ATI don't seem to be fixing it in a hurry. Just wondered if anyone else had a solution as rebooting all the time gets old quickly.
