Does anyone else get a corrupted looking screen just as windows finished loading (e.g. just before the logon screen) with an x1800xt?

The card works perfect (and am very happy with it :D ), and I doubt it is effecting my gaming performance, just wondered if anyone else experienced this.

Cheers.

When it first booted up and all I seen was corruption I nearly had a heart attack :D , especially after a couple of threads about Powercolour recently.

Yes if your running the 6.4's, doesn't happen on any previous set of cats, hes not on about the motherboard screen you get that looks about 8x colours, its the full corrupted screen you get on the 6.4's, the one that pops on after the windows blue bar loading screen, and before the windows logon one. :)

your not the only one

Like LoadsaMoney said its the 6.4 cat. But i only know of people who hav got a 1800/1900 who hav had this happen.

mine too (1900xtx, Connect 3D) and im running 6.3's

i read its because the way the render stuff or do something with colours its different, aparently if there is a bios for your motherboard since the release of the 1800 series it should fix it, well providing the manufacter has fixed it if you get me

yeah i get it with my 1800xt with saphire mobo, bios curruption and screen flickers when entering windows.

I also noticed some werid goings on when running 3dmark06 on the water dragon bit, lots of strange colours and some screens almost totally whited out.
