Hi I'm after some help. I have a 2017 Corsa model e. It's been a decent runaround but now done nearly 70k and things are heading southwards sharply. Without getting into it all I have my mot on the horizon.
Approx 4 years ago I had a code 95 error display on the dash.....it came on sparodically not every journey. After some time and research I disconnected the battery and wiggled connectors under seats ......this made the error code vanish and never had it until recently.
I have since tried same fix but to no avail this time.
Having done further research I have found that this model often suffers with the front air bag impact sensor often goes bad. I've ordered a replacement as it was (only) £30 and will swap this out.
If this is the fault will disconnecting the battery clear the code? I don't know any fiver in your back pocket mechanics I can pop in to reset historic codes. My Corsa (i don't think has the most advanced ECU) but it has one all the same. Can anyone on here advise or if had similar experiences ideally specifically with model e Corsa? To repeat disconnecting the battery years back with the combo of jiggling at the connectors cleared fault from dash.
Sorry for long-winded ness and appreciate any forthcoming advice.
