Hi,
Looking into a heater fault with a '02 Corsa C 1.0.
The inlet pipe to the heater matrix is hot.
The outlet is cold.
The vent air is also cold and the matrix itself is only warm at the top.
Lots of coolant flows out of the inlet pipe if pulled off of the bulkhead.
No water flows from the outlet pipe or the matrix outlet if pulled off the bulkhead.
I am suspecting blocked matrix but could an airlock also be likely?
It's worth noting that whilst fixing another problem on this car back in the Autumn I noticed the matrix outlet pipe was severely kinked. I reseated the pipe correctly which improved the heat output at the time.
Any info appreciated.
