Now.. I'm not usually one to pick fun at peoples spare time, but I had to chuckle this evening. I was in Solihull Touchwood carpark (coming back from a yummy waggamamma's (sp?)) when I hear lots of bass from music, and loud chavvy exhausts coming into the car park. Walking towards my car, I can see a swarm of Vauxhall Corsas. All in different flavours of chav - I can honestly say I never thought I'd see it, but I did. Their attention was soon averted from their own cars to mine though when I started it :D

Ah well, thought I'd share as it made me chuckle.

So the main point we can see from this thread is that Scoobydoo drives a car which really turns heads among the chav community? ;)

I don't believe it, someone managed to get what I was writing between the lines ! :p

Whats wrong with a bunch of car enthusiasts meeting up?

They may not have the same tastes as you guys, or be able to afford much more than a Corsa, but it doesn't stop them from meeting up and having a chat.

Threads like this really put me off meeting some of you because your such stereotypes.

I don't see it as a bunch of car enthusiasts meeting up, I see it as a bunch of chavs meeting up playing loud music, and driving like tossers through a shopping centre car park. Hence I believe I am entitled to rip the mick, as they were acting like fools. Had it have been any other car make I would have done the same, posted a thread, mocking these people driving/acting like they did. Don't get on your high horse because you own a Vauxhall yourself.

I would react the same if it as a bunch of Fiesta enthusiasts, or Fiat Puntos.

But because its not a Mondeo, 5 Series, Subaru, Jap Car etc you automatically jump on your high horse and label them chav.

The meets I have been to have not involved driving like idiots in public places, not sitting playing loud music, and not "donnin ma gold chain and sovs ennit"

They were chavs, you were not there, you cannot label or remove the label from them, as I was there myself. Had it have been any other car make, yes even a Subaru meet doing the same, I would have laughed and thought of them chavs, it's not the car it's the way the people behaved.

An idiot is an idiot whether they drive a Corsa/BMW/Honda/Subaru etc

Is this not the point I'm trying to get across? They were driving like tools in a shopping car park, blaring music and being general idiots. I have not insulted the car brand itself, instead I mentioned the fact that there were a lot of corsas, in different flavours. Had they just been sat there parked up, not blaring music, not trying to make as much noise as possible in the car park, then I would not have posted this thread.

Phil, take off the chav vision glasses and know when being a tool is being a tool. I have not insulted your car, your brand of car or any other. I pointed out chavs, that's it.
