CORSA D Speaker Problem

Hi all,

Got abit of a problem with the passenger side front speaker, it appears distorted when playing any music with bass in, add like a rumble sound through the door panel could this be loose wiring or is the speaker blown?

Kind of a noob when it comes to this

What replacements would you recommend for the front speakers as i listen to anything commercial at the moment?

Budget £150 including fitting, what sort of price should fitting cost for speakers?

Recommend any places in the leeds area?

Easiest upgrade would be co-axials, fastest to fit and probably better than the stock items, but for £150 you could get components (maybe not an amp to drive them properly though) which are far superior.

Might be that the door needs sound deadening..

Take the door card off and have a look.

If its still running factory speakers a quick trip to the local scrappy should sort the replacement speaker.

Cheers Mike, the problem seems to only happen at high speeds i.e the Motorway think it could be dampening etc.
