I doubt many people over the age of 12 actually care about 0-60 times and top speeds.
That might apply to you given your current choice of vehicle but I reckon there's quite a few people who do care about performance.

I'd rather have the keener and more nimble car, I doubt many people over the age of 12 actually care about 0-60 times and top speeds. Anyway, I'll be thrashing a Corsa VXR around Thruxton in July, so we'll see how good it is then
**edit**
The Corsa VXR does 0-60 0.1s quicker and has the greater top speed by 1 MPH, WOW!
i think you'll be surprised. especially if they do flying laps with pro drivers..

If you see my edit above:
The Corsa VXR does 0-60 0.1s quicker and has the greater top speed by 1 MPH
That hardly makes it significantly faster.
.3 seconds, 6.8 for the vxr, 7.1 for the 182.

Depends if you like Turbo power and melted pistons or a NASP engine and sharper handling.
The edit wasn't really necessary. Just turns it into a weeing contest which this isn't about.
182.. a universally respected French hot hatch, nimble, agile and N/A.
VXR.. a garish hot hatch made by Vauxhall, quite heavy but a powerful turbo engine.
To a piston head there is only one answer.

So, people aspire to contract herpes?
Yes people are different, but typically aspirations lead to the acquisition of something worth having.
In your eyes it's not worth having, doesn't mean someone else thinks like that. In his eyes it's probably not worth owning a BMW with 120k+ on the clock.
You state positive facts about the 182 yet state a tainted view about the Corsa being garish and leave out its great handling and performance. nimble and agile you say. So's the Corsa!

Excuse me?
