Hi. Just received my corsair 100i and got to the point of connecting the pump to the fans.. Got the cable out and it's some bizarre one which I have no idea how to connect to a normal 4 pin fan cable... Anyone had this? Don't even know how to put a picture up since this was my only PC

Hey Huggz, did you sort it out?

I've installed a few h100i's.

You should have 2 cables off the top of my head.

The round black sata pump power lead

The flat 4wire Y split fan to pump adapter. 4 pin one end with a little clip that fits into the pump. Very very delicate clips.

Is it one of those?

Yes the one which goes from pump to fan is the wrong cable.. Should have a male 4 pin for the fan connection but doesn't :( gonna put stock cooler on and get it sorted :(

Put the stock cooler on so I know all of it works :P Just a matter of getting that cable sent to me I guess.... Anyone know if it's best to contact OC'ers or corsair?

I has the same issue last night. H100i. Driving me nuts the fans bit.

Then realised the y cable that goes into the pump has little covers at the end that pull/slide off to expose 4 bare metal connectors!

Doesn't say this in the manual either

Have a try :)

This.

""A cable to link the H100i to a USB port for the Corsair Link, two "Y" adapters to run up to four fans in a Push/Pull combination.""

The picture above that... I have 2 of the cables on the far right and not the middle one with the 4 pins.

That's what I seem to be missing

you see them 4 bare pins, there is a cap on the end of it, it actually looks like a proper connector but they are just covers which come off to expose them 4 pins

it will make sense when you the cable in front of you :)

this cable goes on to top of the block, one cable for 2 fans, so if you use push pull you will need both the y cables for 4 fans

I'm going to feel like such a caveman if that's the case tonight! lol.

Thanks for your help bud.. I'll get on that tonight :)

I had to stare at the cable for about five minutes too to figure it out. I felt stupid as hell, but the cover just looks like a 4-pin fan connector so that's why. It's weird.

I was doing some pretty embarrassing things trying to make it fit haha... Just twisting it around and hoping some how it just clicked in :P very hopeful thinking.

i was setting mien up last night, in my new rig

i spent 15mins on youtube looking for h100i installs and no one said this, but by chance tried it and it worked lol

:p

I got a new rig with a 4770k and a r9 280x so you can imagine my excitement :P

This day can't go quick enough now... Glad I've got the weekend off ha

I was up till 2am last night trying to overclock lol

Got in work a bit late. I'm knackered

New rig excitement. Can't beat it!

Haha yeah I wanted to just stay up and get the thing working... Put the stock cooler on and freshly installed Windows then did drivers etc so it is ready for me later.. Got all my games on another SSD so pretty much ready to go!

Excited to see what it can all do... Wanna get the h100i on then see the OC potential it has ^_^
