Anyone able to confirm I will be fine using the Corsair 12 pin adaptor (noting it doesnt have the second rail for the new 3.0 power supplies on it). Its rated to 600 watts through 2 sleeved cables into the 12 pin so assuming it would be fine (from Corsair direct)

I have the Zotac OC 4090 and corsair RM850x power supply. All running well with quad pig tails and wanted to tidy up appearance.

Corsair offer 2 differing cables, make sure you have the right one, I believe the sleeved version isnt rated to 600watts.

I've just tested 600W 12VHPWR corsair cable with RM850 and it can deliver 470W without any issues (max power limit on MSI RTX 4090 Gaming Trio). I wouldn't recommend to go above that power limit limit on RM850 though.
I've also have HX1000 and HX1200 and they are also fine at 470W.

Thank you for the detailed response and your efforts to show the effectiveness of the cable previously linked. Corsair is showing out of stock for it just now so pig tails is being forced upon me for a while longer. I am not seeking to OC anything, just plug and play so overloading the power I hope isn’t the issue, I am more focused on comparability and I think the sleeved Corsair cable I have ordered is for the 3090 rather then 4090. I dare not trust another vendors sellers on their platform and OcUK appear to have no cables making it a new PSU (I see Seasonic Prime TX1300 has the 12VHPWR cable included). An extreme move for cosmetic concerns.

Anyone found an alternative to the Corsairs “flat cable” linked above?
