Hey guys,
Just received the corsair 1500 v2 as a replacement as my corsair 1500 v1 broke a few weeks back.
I've had nothing but problems since day 1. If I touch any sort of volume control (either on the botton on the headset or changing the mixer in windows) the headset randomly disconnects from the PC. Meaning I can hear the windows device disconnected sound and the speak icon in my tray gets a red X through it (showing that there's no device plugged in). after about 0.5seconds it instantly reconnects to the PC again. The disconnecting is completely random and It can happen straight away or after 10seconds of messing with the volume.
If I leave the volume alone it works no problem
If i'm on skype and it disconnects I have to unplug the headset as the MIC volume its 1/10 of what it was. The microphone sound indicator on skype barely goes up. which is extremely annoying.
After unplugging the device physically and plugging it back in everything works fine. Yes, I've tried reinstalling the software and tried different ports. I've also tried a different headset and it works perfect.
Is this headset screwed or is it something software based causing this?
I'd like a second opinion or anyone with the headset to give me some advise
Many Thanks.
