Corsair 2000 7.1 Skype sounds

just got my corsair 2000 headset i love them but when i put them in 7.1 whoever im talking to in Skype sounds all echo like. i was wondering abount any tips for being able to use 7.1 and for them to sound normal?. any advice will be great.

Let me check my settings when I get home. I've got the same headset and use Skype all the time.

Its a problem that hit some users AFAIK. Its apparently a flaw in the wireless design but normally due to tweaks from corsair you wont notice it much or at all. Its a shame since its a great headset with a mind bending bass while still sounding pretty clear. Would go to the official forums for the headsets. There should be a lot of user tweaks and tips there.
