So heh, following my thread here; http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18569212 someone mentioned that he's pretty sure the case has an audio cable (after reading we couldn't get audio beeps) and got me thinking. Though unless it's hiding in the front-panel then the cable just doesn't exist. Hoping one of you can tell me whether the case does in fact have an audio cable and whether the front panel is removable, as that's the only place it could be hiding.

This case exactly: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-107-CA

Here's all I managed to find out hence asking;

unboxing/first look review by LinusLechTips @ 2:50 says "looks like not a removable front piece here"

However there's a video here by HardwareCanucks, he has the front panel off at the 0:55 mark;
@ 0:55 has it off

and lastly the guy in this video by HiTechLegion says at the 1:34 mark that "we've attached hd audio;"

Buuut I've not been able to find out whether the front panel is supposed to come off or whether that was forced and the only reason we would take it off in the first place is if the case is supposed to have an audio cable for the motherboard in order to hear bleeps, then it'd be where it's hiding separately from the other cables (power, reset, power led, reset led)

All the case cables are marked there's two for fans one for the sata 3 front usb connectors and these; power sw, power led-, power led+, hdd led and reset sw so certainly seems like no audio cable but want to make sure. :)

Take it you mean the cable for the front panel audio ports. If that is the case it would be very unlike corsair to have ports without a cable to connect it to your motherboard.

Sounds like you have a faulty case where the front panel is missing cables.

Manged to find this video however, which shows how to remove the front panel there are clips inside of the case that you press together to release it.

Skip to 2:40 mark

Pop it off, if no cable is suck behind there contact corsair and they will most likely ship you out a new front panel (you can buy the spare on their website) so you won't have to ship the entire case.
