Hi all.

Finally getting near the time of purchase and I'm liking the 250D builds that are out there! Few things im not so sure about with the build such as the PSU to use.

Would some people be able to spec me up a 250D build around the £1400 mark. Thats just a ball park figure, no need to reach it if you dont have to :). I will need all components for the build. I will source my own monitor, it will be at least 120Hz though.

I would like a 780 in there as it will be used for gaming at 1080. If the budget allows for a 4770k and 16GB of RAM at 2133Mhz then all the better. Oh and a corsair water cooler for the CPU..:D

Finally, I am nitpicking and I know there is no side panels on the 250D but a colour scheme is always good. Red if I were to use ROG parts. Green other wise.

Thanks for any help!

Non-Rog, non-780..

Better. Red and black scheme with a 290. :)

The sp120's are for the h100i, this would look stunning. :)

I'm sorry doomedspeed but I have settled on the 780, I can deal with the lack of ROG components but not the lack of Nvidia. Can't thank you enough for responding though. You seem to have a knack for creating a bundle which you can tell will look great.

Yea I know about the top window... I did forget about it while writing this. I was thinking of the side view perspective.

Thanks again doomedspeed :)

Fair enough,

Considering the OCUK price of 780's i don't think they are great value, but if you can aquire one for much less than £400 id say its an okay buy. :)

Just ensure you get one that will fit the case, you need to bear in mind the length and the thickness of it, as the DCII's are three slots wide. These won't fit in the 250D.

The Phantoms are also a bit wider than 2 slots, so you may have an issue there.
