I'm a new member, would just like to say hi to all the members on the OCUK Forum.

I would just like some general advice about the following 2GB modules:

Corsair 2GB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS3.0 Kit (2x1GB) (VS2GBKIT400C3) (MY-080-CS)

Price: £144.99 (£170.36 Including VAT at 17.5%)

I currently 'have' a brand new set of those modules, however, i can achieve a mild overclock with my system mainly as it is not 'overclocking' ram. Is it best to sell these modules and get another 2GB kit which overclocks well? If so, how much would i get (£ Pound) from these modules (Original packaging - Got these modules last week).

hi welcome to forums, those modules are just standard cas 3 ram modules, I wouldnt expect them to clock high, there made to run at a stated setting and wont go much higher, hence the price. If your after overclocking get some OCZ 2gb 3200 or 4000 series modules, if you want the performance you gotta cough up the moola

Yeap, i dont mind spending a bit more, i got a stable O/C of 2.7Ghz (270FSB, RAM Divider of 333MHz, x10 Multiplier and vcore @ 1.475v).

How much do you think i will get for those modules if i decide to sell them? Or shall i say, what would be a reasonable price?
