Hi i'm building a new pc i've ordered all the parts apart from the RAM i am unsure which one to get, i want to overclock my cpu quite a bit and they both seem good affordable ram. I do not want to go over £170 for RAM. here is my rig:

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ SD (overclock to 2.7/8 is poss)
Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire 3200 xpress
512MB Sapphire Radeon X1900 XTX
WD 74GB Raptor
Scythe Ninja
which one:
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2 (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) (MY-057-OC)

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-079-CS)

From the specs the ocz is better. Its guaranteed to do 2,3,2,5 @ 2.6v whereas the corsair is 2,3,3,6 @2.75v. I havent tried the ocz so cant comment on o/c's but i do have the corsair and mine runs at 205mhz, 2,3,2,5 @ 2.6v. I havent tried any higher than that as cpu was at its limit. I really wanted 2,2,2,5 out of my sticks but cant get it stable. The corsair 3500ll sticks are suppose to be amazing and can still run cas2 at 235-240mhz generally.

OCZ. I had 2gig of XMS3200C2PT and found it ran no faster than my old generic memory at 208mhz with the same timings (2.5-3-3-7-1t) and it cost £180 when I got it! I got some 2gig of ocz 3200 EL for £146 inc, and it runs 2-3-2-5-1t at 208mhz stock Vdimm. Very happy with the ocz.
