Hey guys

had this RAM about 6 months and well chuffed with it. But lately i've been wanting to squeeze every last drop of performance out of all my hardware.

Now im wondering what timings people have got out of these

im currently running at 2-3-3-6 @ 1T @ 200mhz, this is at stock voltage

Do you reckon i could get 2-3-3-5 out of these? Would i need to up the voltage, and also would 2-2-2-5 be within reach?

Finally whats safe voltage wise to put through these?

Many thanks people

I had mine on 3 volts for the past year and seem to be fine. I had them at DDR 500 with timings at 2.5-3-3-8.

I've put everything back to stock now as I'm selling this PC in a week or two.

That memory will do 2-3-2-5-1t at stock volts, thats what I had my XMS3200C2PT at until I got rid of it. How far it'll overclock will probably be dependant on the revision. Mine was not very overclockable, only managed 200mhz at those timings, would only run 2.5-3-3-7 1t at only a few mhz higher, and considering I paid £180 for a 2gig set I wasn't too pleased.
Incidentally, you'll only see the performance increase in benchies, i doubt very much games, etc will run perceptibly faster.

2-3-3-5 isn't that much faster, if any.

Why not try 2-2-2-6-1T as that would be even faster?

I don't reckon theres much chance of a 2gig kit hitting 2-2-2-5, the fastest I've seen is 2-3-2-5.

currently running 2-3-3-5 @ 1T

will look at doing the 2-3-2-6 like you said see if i can get that working

cheers for your help guys

I pushed the timings down a bit on my kit but I could not get these chips overclocked very far, if any at all. Even with relaxed timings and 2.9volts they do not OC well.

I got somewhere near 210 stable in memtest but not in the OS.

I got those sticks. I run mine at 2,3,2,5 1t @ 2.6v @ 200 but they are stable up to 205 (havent tried any higher). Have tried to get them to run 2,2,2,5 but cant get them to boot like that. The best 2gb kit out there is the corsair 3500ll which runs at 2,3,3,6 at 230-240 or so according to most peoples overclocks.
