I've just purchased Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) With EPP via OcUK, have i made the right choice.

I've decided to make an upgrade and thought i'd purchase the memory first, Processor second and Motherboard third.

Have i made the right choice on the memory as i'm going for a 680i Motherboard, thinking of overclocking a lot after messing with my current setup.

They aren't the best for clocking, but if you were being serious about clocking, sell your existing 2x512 and get some CellShocks, Team, Crucial Anniversarys or something like that!

I didn't know you were upgrading all of your other components otherwise I would have said differently before :p

To late now i've paid for them, not planning on a massive overclock just a good mess around and thought do it now whilst i got the money to do it.

Only just decided to make a new system, after looking at the core 2 duo and what people are doing with these little demons i've decided to jump in and have a crack myself.

Had a good think about my system and an upgrade and i've decided to go the full hog for new hardware. Anyone have this memory if so share your views.

Corsair XMS2 range is to under rated imo. I think they are great and more reliable than most other ram. I got th C5 version of that ram.

Good to see people getting along well with the memory always gone with Corsair or Crucial for reliability and performance never had a problems using these two brands.

Looking to get the Processor next week possibly an E6300, then the week after the Motherboard probably a nVidia 680i to get the most out of the memory.

O.K bud thanks, made a note of it. Haven't yet decided what motherboard i'm going to choose, seriously thinking of a nForce 680i at the moment.
