I've purchased the Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) what chips are being used in these? Are they still using Micron D9 chips?

Hey Mista.Gee sorry i cant answer your question but i wonder if you can help me out a little.

I have a Core 2 Duo E6600 along with a Asus P5B Deluxe just need to decide on some Memory.

Its either the Corsair Memory that you have or the Cellshock 6400.

Whats the Corsair RAM like, good and stable and they wroth getting?

Hey StickRoad, The Corsair's are very good memory got mine to 1000MHz no problems not tried any further as i haven't had the time but seems very stable indeed. Not heard a lot about the Cellshocks so can't advise on them at the moment.

Just checked the site looks like the Dominator Revision i purchased got the Handpicked Micron D9GMH (B6-3).

Ok thanks Mista.Gee.

Anyone who would recommend the Cellshock Memory, to be honest i haven't really heard much about the Cellshock stuff.

Or which sort of memory would you recommend?

I mate

Cellshock is one of the best ram makers around
Great quality Ram made in Germany
yf you buy it ,you wont regret
but take note: Cellshock PC 2 6400 model CS 2221041 is made with Micron D9 chips- and overclocks to at 1100 mhz and even more
but
Cellshock PC2 6400 V2 model CS 2221042 is made with Elpida chips-and is not as good( no way)
these last modules have black pcb´s

anyway,Team Extreem PC2 6400 is another great ram,with micron D9 chip´s too,and Crucial Ballistyx PC 2 6400 is another one too :)
