Corsair 2gb XMS3200C2PT help

Hi all,

I have an Asus A8R32-MVP deluxe motherboard and had been using the Corsair 2gb DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-079-CS) for a couple of months fine. Then windows XP will not load. After some swapping parts with other computers I found that 1 stick of Ram would stop windows xp from loading and I tried it in 5 other computer with the same result. Anyway I believed it was faulty as I could use other Ram and my computer would act normal.

So I sent it back to overclockers but they say its fine? Does anyone have any other ideas why the the ram (just one piece) will stop the computer running? Cant see how it can be anything else

Yeah, me too. Just Overclockers said its fine and returned it. Would have liked to known what tests they did to determine whethere it was faulty or not. Its sitting here unusable and Ive already been without it for afew weeks now :mad:

Dont really know what to do because Overclockers said its fine and returned it. Do you know how they would have tested it to determine whether it was faulty?

This is stupid. Cant even test it because it wont load on any computers. I tried some university ones today and still nothing. that must be a total of 20+ computers now (all compatible with the dual ram) :eek:

Overclockers must have some amazing computer to test this in, if indeed that was the case.

Anyway, thanks for your help
