Corsair 3000D case with 3 fans help

I’ve just bought one with three rgb fans which is great. However I can see that the fans are all connected into a 3 way rgb cable attachment which I presume goes into the motherboard somewhere ? Any one know where though.

Each fans has a 4 pin (PWM) thatched to into the sys fan ports on the motherboard ?

Trying to work out without a controller where I would plug this single cable
 
Look for rgb headers on mb, they are 4 pin but with one pin missing, be careful as putting it wrong can blow rgb.
i would look at fan and motherboard diagram first, what mb you have.

it says it has a crosair port (presume I would plug it into there) and the PWM into the headers for power?

Yes Try the Corsair port and pwm goes into a 4 pin chassis header.

MSI have there own mystic light software but not sure if you have to install the Corsair software so you mite have to look in the manual for guidance, but presumably MSI lighting would control the RGB.
