So just bought 32 GB of Corsair RAM (2 x 16 at 3600 MHz) CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18
installed in X570 Aurora Elite motherboard (Gigabyte)
was showing fine at native 2133 on Task manager BUT after I enabled the XMP profile (which looks to be correct in bios 2 x 1800 per ram strip, duel layered) it now shows at 1600mhz on Task manager
Is this genuine or is task manager just not reading it correctly, can’t see how XMP would lower the RAM speed
anyone got any suggestions to check
a) the speeds are correct as per bios
B) (if a is wrong, how to fix it)
many thanks
