I have some old 4400 corsair memory and would like to add some more ram to my computer as I only have 1gig.

Is there anywhere I can search for this or something that is compatiable?

Thanks

I currently have Corsair Memory 512 MB PC4400 DDR RAM (cmx512 4400pt) x2

I am really impressed with its performance so was either looking for something on a similar level but 2 x 1gig instead.

Or maybe 1 gig that I can use with this. (I know it wont be as good like that though)

My system is quite old. I have an asus 754 board. With only three slots, which i must have overlooked at the time.

Any advice as I am lost with the new technology since building my pc a few years ago

i can't believe you're calling PC4400 Old! makes my rig feel 10 years older!

Yeah old sort of puts PCs and how quickly they are progressing into perspective doesnt it?

Anyway, I got

2 x 512MB Corsair XMS4400 TwinX
2 x 512MB Corsair XMS4400 Platinum

2 pairs obiously.
and the specs of them are 100% identical in every way, however...

Now, the TwinX I find is spot on for the DFI LanParty ( S754 ), however, the platinum does have issues with it?

both pairs are just spanking in my MSI Boards

NEO-2 Platinum
NEO-4 F

And they are also great in the Abit NF7 and NF7S as these are the boards I bought the RAM for, for getting ridiculous speeds from my XPs!!!

I was able to use all 4 sticks in both MSIs however, and this one is telling me they are different, is that they did not run too well together? - yet, as I said, on their own, fine, and spec-wise the yare 100% identical, but mixed up ??

Anyway, the platinum ( Silver Spreader ) seems to have an issue with the DFI but otherwise they are all fine.
