so, i've got aproblem on my new 450d case.
on the front is a removable dust filter with 2 'push switches' to hold it in place and remove it.
now, one of them is broken - its a new build but after ringing ocuk they said because its wired in they wold need the whole pc back. I decided i couldn't do that as i need it (and it could be the better part of a week) and i can't get to the shop so i opted for a discount on the case instead.

so,what are my options? - i was going to cut off the plastic bits on the broken one and use blutak.

anyone have any better ideas before i do it????

Have you got a picture of what's broken?

If the push switches are what I think they are I'm sure Corsair could sort you replacements.

yeah, its a bit out of focus but you can see its a contained unit.
ocuk said they would need the whole case back to replace the full front unit but as i said i can't afford to lose my pc for days.

the plastic pushes in but it doesn't click and lock closed.
but i will give corsair an email and see what they say.

just asked on the corsair web thing - to me it looks like maybe the square plastic thing might come out and be replacable.

Yeah that was what I assumed from your description, I'm sure I've read of folks having new ones sent out.
I've got the 750D with the same catches. They look like they're removable but haven't looked really closely at them.

There is a Corsair rep on here that I'm sure you could ask.

Something...beard (possibly Silverbeard? - doesn't help much unfortunately :( )

I think velcro would be a better idea than blu tac. That's likely to be a "dust" zone which i'm sure won't do the blu-tacs stickiness any good over time.

thanks.
got a reply from corsair and they are sending a front fascia to me - not sure what that emcompasses and whether i can replace the switch from that, or how i replace it! - but thanks to corsair for the quick service!
