I had that OCZ and it was total crap, had to return it and there is a stickie in the OCZ forums about Asus Bioses and changes in them that mess with OCZ Memory (was about the 680I and so OCZ claim ).
Asus all have their own Bios not Generic so for me Asus + OCZ = never again.
The above Reaper heatpipes do next to nothing, the heatpipe is only touching the Alu Spreader so get little heat.
The newer Reaper X has the Heatpipes touching the actual Memory Chips.
I have tried all sorts inc £400 Mushkin and ended up back on Corsair.
I always thought that Asus and Corsair went well together but i have no personal experience of it so thought it best to consult the oracles here.
I'd be interested in others opinions.
