Hey, whats all your oppinions on this PSU? Will it take anything I throw at it? Such as an HD2900XT or even 2 8800GTS?

Looks like a nice PSU but what to see what you all think :D

Great, seems like people like it so I think I will get it, allthough if I get an HD2900XT I will proberbly purchase the 620W version :D

I don't know about SLi'd 8800 series cards, I know the 620w version is capable of quad core plus watercooling and SLi'd 8800 series cards but I wouldn't be 100% comfortable recommending the 520w version for the above even though I think it would cope. For any single graphics card system though the 520w version is fine. :)

Ive had the corsair for a few weeks now. I only got it as the tagan i usually have was out of stock.

However im more than happy with it and would certainly buy another if i had to :)

I'm extremely happy with mine. Running E6420 @ 3.1Ghz, 8800 GTX, 6 HDDs, 1 Optical, 4x120mm fans, 2x80mm fans and a number of usb devices and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. I'm pretty sure it should be fine for an HD2900XT or SLI'd GTSs, IMO most people overestimate what is needed. No guarantees though. :P

Excellent PSU, even better email Corsair and there'll send you a new style 8 pin PCI Express modular connector for the HD2900XT foc as well :).

I dunno what I was expecting but as far as I can see, it's no better (or worse) that my tagan. It does seem to be flavour of the month at the moment with everybody recommending it....but then so were Hiper's a year ago

Guess what I'm saying is that I'm not sure what it's bringing to the table, over and above other quality manufacturers.

It seems nice anyway.
