Hi all

As per title,

I am building a new rig:

2 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 "Reference Design" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

1 x Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR EATX Motherboard

1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW)

Am I going to have enough room to fit my Asus Xonar Essence STX card from my old machine?

I remember with my old build, once I added another gfx card, there was not enough clearance for the card.

Many thanks in advance as usual

PCI-E x1 hardware will work in PCI-E x16 slots as well!

Just install the STX into the bottom PCI-E x16 slot and you are set, and should be far enough away from your second graphic card:

...so you just install the STX into the red PCI-E x16 slot at the very bottom.
