Considering getting a Corsair 540.
Currently have a Fractal Design R4.

What I'm most interested in is how quiet is it with my current spec? (It'll be in the bedroom so the missus insists on this)

Gigabyte 780 ghz ed (will fit...just)
Noctua UH14S ( I think, can't remember now)
4670k (not oc'd yet)
RM850 psu

Could go water cooled and SLI at some point too so what are my options there

the 3 standard AF fans that come with the case are a little noisy, slow them with a fan controller or replace with quiet edition fans.
other than that a joy to work on and a pleasure to look at.

The air 540 looks great, I would have bought it if I wern't holding out for the Enthoo Luxe.
I might even have went for the 540 instead but from what a lot of people said, is that the quality of materials used is quite shoddy for the price, and lack of dust filters.

Even so though, I'm still half tempted to just buy it instead of waiting :P

I didn't think of dust filters.
Cleaned the R4 the other week and there was a layer on the front intake....may have to reconsider... darn

I think the front intake is covered, but the top, bottom, and where the PSU intakes air on the right side doesn't have one.
Which I guess you could mod yourself.

^this

the front has a magnetic filter, the psu, back top and bottom [not fan slots just gaps in the case] don't have them.

there's no reason you couldn't add filters yourself, there's plenty of room around all of the sides except the bottom where the hdd's go.

other than that its a great case, incredibly easy to have a neat looking build in.

If I owned the case, I'd have it orientated sideways, so the window is on top.
Not sure if any feet/stands are included so that the psu would then be able to breathe being on the bottom.

It would be great if I could actually see the case before ordering online, just to see build quality.

I'd be to worried about messing it up....I'll go back to the drawing board for a bit.

I should say there is absolutely nothing wrong with my R4, has lots of room and I've found it to be very good quality with great cooling (provided you spend money on it).
