After a lot of moaning and groaning ive finally decided to jump for Corsair instead of other brands... just wanted to know how much of a difference would a XMS2 DDR 6400 4-4-4-12 make as opposed to 5400 4-4-4-12 (since its almost a £45 difference). I dont plan on overclocking much and will mostly be using them at stock speeds and the setup will be used strictly for gaming... (975xbx mobo, x1900xt, e6400 Cpu)...having said that i would however like to know how much one can push the 5400s? 800-900 MHz maybe?

Moreover, an off topic question for OCUK ppl or others who've had a returns experience with OCUK.... how long does it generally take to get a refund after sending in the product back via distance seller regulation?

If your not wanting to overclock too much go for the 5400 but have you seen the lower priced 6400 Corsair?
I've no idea about distance selling etc best E mail or ring the shop to get the right advice.

yea I have but they have higher latencies...im not expert but i think lower latencies are advisible especially for gaming as opposed to higher clock rates...thus going for 5400 4-4-4 instead of 6400 5-5-5...what do u recon?
