I currently have a TJ-09 that is showing its age (no SSD support, rubbish cable management, noisy) and would like a new case. My system is in my signature and is nowhere near as hot as the Q6600 based system it has replaced so I reckon I can get away with a smaller, quieter case. I like the look of the 550d and it seems to get good write ups. Is there anything else I should look at?

Hi,
I just got myself Corsair Carbide 540 and honestly: best case I ever had. Lot's of room, VERY high airflow, best cable management (it's dual chamber case).
Single cage that fits up to 4 SSDs (behind motherboard tray) and 2 hotswap bays under the motherboard (visible through window) for HDD/SSD. I recommend this highly, and if I would have to pick something different than this, then it would be either 900D or CM Stacker (I prefer big ones but this is more than enough in mid-size range).
Size is pretty decent which I think is not bigger than 550D you mentioned; it's rather smaller in height, but wider (cube basically). Think about this case, it met all my needs.
