I'm in the market for a new case and am edging towards the 650D. The thing that has put me off so far is the reviews indicating that the negative air pressure really affects the cooling performance. I was thinking it would probably be best to mount my H80 as an intake rather than a push/pull exhaust to create some positive pressure.

However Corsair have now brought out a meshed side panel to replace the window. It doesn't look like its filtered but from the mounting holes looks like it takes 4x120mm or 1x200m which should assist airflow considerably.

I think I have my new case as soon as this becomes widely available. Hopefully OCUK will stock this soon

I wouldn't say considerable, especially if you use a 200mm+ fan. Yes the mesh will allow noise form the GPU and other fans to escape but personally wouldn't think I'd even notice it with my setup

Apologies for bumping my own thread but until 31 Oct you can get free delivery by using code 'meshfs' on the corsair website
