Hey guys,

I'm in need of a part, that annoys me that I even need, and annoys me further that I can't source lol!

I have a Corsair 678c case, it's great, however I've removed the removable hard drive caddy's from it as I don't need them, and this leaves 6 holes in the case. Corsair kindly provide you with only 2 black plastic blanking plates for these, so I'm after 4 more!

Can anyone assist in either they have spares I can buy off them or point me to somewhere that can get me them? I've tried calling OCUK but they said they can't source spares for cases :(

Here's a pic of the build as it is currently - more info in the project logs forum.

No luck from Corsair support, they basically said they don't stock or sell that part. Sighs, it's not an old case, and retailed at just shy of £200, I'm pretty frustrated at Corsair for not supporting it properly.

Not good Corsair :(

Bit disappointing tbh, the case should simply have come with 6 of these parts not 2, and the fact they are unable to supply them is poor. I'm going to get a sheet of white plastic cut to size to cover all the holes, and my next case won't be a Corsair as clearly they don't put the thought into things they once used to.

If you click "find a retailer" there are a few to try, most of the links seem to go to the full case for sale, or to the home-page. Quite useless.

I also gave it a Google, and an OcUK competitor is supposedly getting some in on the 29th of September.

To be honest I'd abandon the idea and cut a sheet of white acryllic to cover them all up, they are still almost as unsightly with the covers fitted.

Greybeard was the OcUK rep for Corsair, but he seems to have disappeared from the forum. No posts since 2017 and I can't tag him.
