I am on the cusp of buying this chassis, and need to know if I will need a 4 Pin 12VATX cable extender (The location of the port is right at the top corner of the mobo, so the furthest possible position away from the PSU). The official length of the cable according to seasonic is 650mm, which should be fine, but due to cable routing etc. I have my doubts.

Can anyone with the 750D advise if an extender is a needed or not, before I order the case?

Yea same, didnt require an extender.

The motherboard tray cut outs are in the perfect position for a direct route

No worries, you are in for a treat it is a fantastic case, the best I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

It has just arrived. Initial impressions are excellent. I am moving from an Antec 300, for more room, upgradability, and, well, for a change.

One problem though, is that the chassis has arrived with a crack in the side acrylic window. Looks like the box has been dropped on a sharp edge at that point, and its broken the window. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I am not going to move components over until the seller advises on how they want to deal with it. I have also raised a ticket with Corsair, to see if they will send out a replacement panel, although as they are closed at the moment (being based in the US), will not get a reply until this evening at the earliest.

A tad annoying, but these things happen

I had a replacement side window sent out very fast when i submitted a ticket. They just asked for a picture of the damage. mine was only some kind of 'production scratch' too.
