Corsair 750tx - what amp power plug?

We've just moved house and a lot of cables went together in the same boxes.

After getting confused which power lead (the one with 3 amp fuse, or the 5 amp fuse) goes to the virgin box and which goes to the ps3 (google told me the 5 amp one), I now have the same problem with my monitor (philips 24" something) and my psu (corsair 750tx).

I've found a power lead with a 13 amp lead and one with a 10 amp lead, is the any way of finding out which one goes with which?

Amps = Watts divided by Volts.
Volts = Watts divided by Amps.
Watts = Volts times Amps.
From that you can pretty much work out what needs watt

But i would guess your monitor draws nowhere near the wattage your psu does.

750 watt / 220 v = 3.4 amp?

Surely that can't be right? I've got a 10 amp and 13 amp plug.

A quick search on Google seems to suggest Corsair put 13 amp fuses in their power cables, regardless of the wattage on the PSUs.

Looks like other companies do the same: What fuse does your psu cable use?

13a fuse for pretty much all kettle leads.

230v x 13a =~3000watts

you probably wont find a household appliance that can pull more than 3kw
