hi

i have a corsair 760t that im looking to fit water cooling too. just want some advice be for i buy more parts.

i have 2x 670gtx 2gb cards with heal killer water blocks
i5 2500k cpu hopefully going to get a xspc cooling block
xspc 750 bay res/pump.

looking at the radiators i can fit in the case. i was originally planing on a 240mm monstra in the front push + pull fans. would getting the 280mm one make much difference?

in the top of the case i was going to fit a 360 rad but have since decided that i want to keep the dvd drive so looking like 280mm is the biggest i can fit. unless someone else has fitted a 360 with the drive bay fitted?

so basically will 2 x 240 rad be enough to keep this cool? or would 2 x 280 be much better?

why don't you buy an external drive

Yea that Is an option but I'd still like to keep the internal if possible

how often do you use it i just use mine to put my operating system on And install my drivers

If you don't use it much, you can buy a Sata power, and data cable to plug into an external usb header, for about 4 quid.

Yea fair point only for installs really. Will have a look at external cable. So what's the verdict on 240 vs 280

Bigger the better go for a 360 and just get a external drive for £10

I would go for a 360 in the top and 240
I would suggest gentle typhoons or eloops

So if I fitted a 240 would I be able to leave my 2 140 fans fitted to the case and fit 2 120s to the back of the rad?

No you can.t mix fans in push pull

I have a 760T, first thing I decided when buying WC parts was to get an external DVD drive and free up some room. Can fit a 360mm rad in the top and have a fan controller in the top bay drive slot easily enough still.

I went for an NZXT Sentry Mix 2

Wanted something which could run the 2 front fans as well as the 3 fans on the rad and control the D5 Pump. Plus I didnt want anything with a screen so this was pretty perfect. Think I picked it up on offer for £20.
