Corsair 800D + GA-Z87X-OC Issue

So i recently picked up this motherboard and for the past 3 days I've been having to remove the side of my case to turn my PC on. I cant seem to see anywhere to put the 1394 cable into which is responsible for my front panel working.

Any ideas?

by doing a quick search it doesn't seem to have a 1394 port

1394 is for firewire; there should be lots of small leads which ogo into the mobo which allows you to power the pc up, from the front of the case I should add

Now i feel like a complete tube, ive had them screwed in behind the MOBO.. not connected to anything.

Haha, easy mistake to make! It will explain which leads go where in your mobo manual. Unless you have an asus mobo as i think they come with an attachment which sorts it out for you
