Im seeing on a lot of builds, people using the above power supply's ok im still very new to all this so excuse the silly questions, but whats the difference between the modular one @£138 and the normal one some £40 cheaper???

God i hate asking silly questions lol

A modular PSU is one where you can detach and attach power cables as you need them, whereas a normal PSU will have many connected to begin with and cannot be removed.

It really is as simple as having removable cables, you only need to plug in what you need.

This saves on having a forest of cables that can be a pain to hide and tidy.

COOOOL i get that now, the psu i got right now in my rig is a storm 700W and this indeed had all the cables like a plug and play system, much better by far i think,,,,, ok Modular is the way to go i think
