Corsair 900D release date

Just wondering what's going on with the Corsair 900D release date. I thought it was coming out on the 4th of June but it says the 6th now on overclockers and on a competitor site it's now been pushed back to July. I've been really tempted to buy one but I don't want to pre-order whilst the dates keep changing. Does anyone know for certain when they'll be hitting the UK?
 
Well apparently they hit the shores today. and OCUK will get it in 2 days time. so hopefully its still the same
 
Im in the same position Skeng, I don't want to pre-order. This morning I had a reply stating the 6/6 date still stood, but Ive been informed its change to July sometime. Corsair saying vendors didn't order many and some have gone out already. Its all mixed messaged at times, I'm sure it will all be cleared up soon and we can get our cases

I really hope it's not July, contemplating pre-ordering one now. :P
 
I asked the question on OCuk FB page and got a reply!!!!

Overclockers UK It has has been pushed back i'm afraid and from what we've been told it's going to be atleast another couple of weeks. As soon as we know more confirmed details the site will be updated.

Your having a laugh, Ace modder said they were getting the stock in on thursday, i've all ready paid for mine :(

Getting sick of corsair on the matter tbh, they have had months and months to sort stock problems out :mad:

I`m feel the same mate:mad: know one seems to have the correct arrival date or they are not being told the truth. I`ve already had a rant on corsair`s FB page and they are claiming its not them but the retailers not ordering enough!!!

Corsair reply.....

It's not delayed at all. Your retailer didn't order enough to begin with, and didn't order again until they sold through their first order. These things are made and shipped from Asia on a boat, so when they order too late you see long delays at the retailer between shipments.

This was an almost universal mistake by our retailers WW btw.
 
It wasn't long ago I was told, that the orders were placed were big enough for all preorders and stock on site. Not trusting what corsair are saying, this release has been up and down like a yoyo.

This is bad news from Corsair if they can't meet demand, can't blame OCUK for it. I am in the hunt for a 900D to start a new build but if its gonna hold me up 3-4 weeks ill have to give consideration to other cases for water cooling.

Perhaps a TemJin TJ07 at £259 quid is looking like a better option.
 
I heard that they took a lot of stock in to redo something with the latches for the side panels. Thats probably why we're not seeing a lot of stock.

I don't believe that this is the case. I think it's more on meeting the demand. Keep in mind that this case is ginormous, the logistics itself is already a challenge as it is, plus the demand is so high we couldn't keep up the production side. But we are doing our best to make sure that they are being distributed accordingly.

The release date on OCUK has jumped to the 10th...

I hope this just means that all of the ones that arrived today are to honour pre-orders...

(I really hope it doesn't mean my order hasn't been pushed back to the 10th, I'll call later to check this.)
 
Confirmed; I just spoke to OCUK, and they told me that they should be in on monday.

Although one of the other shops I use has it listed as the 14/06/2013...

I'm hoping for monday.
